Romania Reconcile

Romanian Atheneum, Cristian -Kit- Paul, Bucharest, 2007

Romanian Atheneum in Bucharest, as seen last night.

We love to hate its guts, but every now and then we must concede: Bucharest has its moments. Yes, they are still few and far in-between, but they do exist and least we can do is stop in our way for a minute and acknowledge them.

True, true, although that "ING Country" looks mighty fine from over here; I don't know which country to return too :D

Well, I'm paying ING to tell me that. This is how it works. Ridiculous, don't you think?

As a foreigner (American) who has been traveling to Bucharest for seven years, I've enjoyed many of Bucharest's moments. I find them in the wonderful people I meet.

Thanks, my dearest brother. You make me so very homesick for Bucharest. And you know the heck I go thru there. My friends make it SO worth it.
