Travel Away

Bangkokery-one, Cristian -Kit- Paul, Bangkok, 2007.

35°C: no icicles or snow, no icy wind, no steamy breath—except for air conditioning maniacs, maybe.

They call it Krung Thep Maha Nakhon—Bangkok for the rest of us.

I never understood why they keep their air condition is so damn cold - they are born there, you'd think they are used to high temperatures.
In some buses they even give you a blanket during the night so you don't freeze, but they wouldn't turn it off. It might be a question of pride.
