There must be some sort of self-destructive mechanism buried in the minds of men, linking this subtly bizarro shop window in central Bucharest with Charles Bukowski's — probably inebriated — words:
the thought has occurred to millions of men
the removal of life might be preferred to
the removal of hair
But then again, Bukowski died of leukemia.
