East Village, West Village, soho, are wonderful neighborhoods that you might have missed if you've hung out mostly in Midtown. It's crazy how diverse this city is, and how fast it changes if you walk a few blocks one way or another.

For Pages 09 the above does not work. Only this:
Snow Leopard is compatible with the aff/dic open format dictionaries.

So, all you need to do is to get one dictionary, and place it inside ~/Library/Spelling (you may have to create the directory).

You can get the dictionary from OpenOffice, extract the file using The Unarchiver, and copy ro_RO.aff and ro_RO.dic in your Library.

You have to logout & login, and then go to System Preferences > Language & Text > Text > Spelling > Romana ...and boom! you have system-wide romanian spell checking :)

Hi Jay, and thank you for the comment.

However, I do not post-process my images (except for dust removal). The strong vignette comes from the lens I use—Leica Noctilux. When open at F/1.0, the Noctilux vignettes a lot: there are up to 3 stops difference in exposure between center and corners. The grain comes from factors as the developer type, temperature, agitation, etc.

assuming that a film & gear stated were used I do not understand this dark vignette , more than that I have used ilford 125 several times and it does not simply give such a grain , grain of this size appears with 400 iso speed . this photo looks great but it is certainly digitalized

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed this one. The scratches are definitely on film, and they come—I think—from improper film drying (bad squeegee perhaps).

i love this image ---

did you get some scratching from your m7? or is that just a layer you popped in?

i'm a big fan of all your work...
