Movies 300

Ah, the glory of maniacal post-production — the movie looks and feels like Frank Miller's graphic novel. 300 scores 8.2 on IMDB (trailer here). If your job is in any way related to visual culture this visual feast is mandatory. See it.

It really does simply SHOUT Frank Miller, doesn't it? According to IMDB, there was only one scene for which they actually went on location - when Xerses' horse riders charged against Leonidas's Spartans. The rest of the movie was shot against a screen (blue 90% of the time, and green for 10% of it).

Miller's next flick should be interesting too - Sin City 2.
