     	&lt;p&gt;I already signed the petition weeks ago... As far as I know, Adobe is the only software produces with SUCH discriminatory pricing policies. On the other hand, the average american doesn't have any notion about eur-usd ratios - in the US an eur is as good as a buck (this is for real) - to Adobe's home public isn't much disturbed, andh that's all that counts for them...&lt;/p&gt;

     	&lt;p&gt;American ignorance regarding Europe doesn't matter here — Adobe product prices are not set by a bunch of average Joes oblivious to whatever happens outside their Kansas trailer park.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The most disturbing fact is that Adobe couldn't come up with a valid explanation for the pricing anomaly, royally disregarding the over 8000 people who signed up the petition until now.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is corporate arrogance, Microsoft-style. Monopoly is a bad, bad thing.&lt;/p&gt;
