American ignorance regarding Europe doesn’t matter here — Adobe product prices are not set by a bunch of average Joes oblivious to whatever happens outside their Kansas trailer park.
The most disturbing fact is that Adobe couldn’t come up with a valid explanation for the pricing anomaly, royally disregarding the over 8000 people who signed up the petition until now.
This is corporate arrogance, Microsoft-style. Monopoly is a bad, bad thing.

I already signed the petition weeks ago… As far as I know, Adobe is the only software produces with SUCH discriminatory pricing policies. On the other hand, the average american doesn’t have any notion about eur-usd ratios - in the US an eur is as good as a buck (this is for real) - to Adobe’s home public isn’t much disturbed, andh that’s all that counts for them…
