I just saw it. It was indeed impressive, it left me more or less speechless. The graphics, the way the story is told, the directing, all very very good. Thanks a lot for the recommendation.

Another Japanese animation movie that I love watching again and again—besides everything Miyazaki did—is "My Neighbors the Yamadas." It's a tad more grown-up but incredibly sweet nevertheless. You might want to have a look at that, too.
