Design 10 commandments of design

Back in the early 1980s, Dieter Rams asked himself an important question: is my design good design? He set about expressing the ten most important criteria for what he considered was good design.

Striving for achieving perfection [in product, environment, graphic or any other type of design, architecture as well] has always been the designers' Graal. Especially german designers'.

But fortunately, there is no perfection, as there is no single truth. Otherwise we'd all be living nicely-packed like bees or other grid-obsessed life forms. German designers—functional-driven designers, actually—should learn some more from the far east. Wabi-sabi, neh? :)
