Apple Only Rock and Roll
Yesterday's Apple It's Only Rock and Roll event in a nutshell:
- iPod lineup: new iPod nano with video camera, new iPod touch lineup, capacity bump for classic, new iPod shuffle;
- iTunes 9: Redesigned iTunes Store, New Media Syncing Options, Genius Mixes, iPhone App Organization, iTunes LP etc;
- iPhone OS 3.1: Genius feature for apps, improved syncing, iTunes U content organization, remotely lock iPhone with a passcode via MobileMe, anti-phishing, improved Exchange calendar syncing and invitation handling etc.
Good. This buys us time to save money for the tablet.

Yep, well said. But I wouldn't rush, the first edition tablets will probably be just for fun, nothing serious. By 3rd edition however, I bet they'll be a real treat even for power users :)
We just have to wait and see.
