Apple AAPL > MSFT

Over those past five years, Microsoft’s stock has been largely stagnant: it’s up about 4%. Apple’s stock, meanwhile, is up some 550% over that same time frame.

They'll swap places back and forth for a while, but the trend is solid. Amazing.

Amazing indeed, Apple is making history with this and I believe that part of this growth is due to a fundamental branch of Apple's philosophy, design.

It's clear now that great design can change the world :)

And this "design" bullet doesn't even appear on spec lists—the rest of the world sells megabytes, megahertz and megapixels. Not user experience, but megabytes, megahertz and megapixels.

Preview is botched, I know. Thanks for reminding me, though.

I always thought that Apple is more a design company than computer/mobile one.

They have never sold products, gadgets or hardware, they've sold only experiences and emotions.

That's the true genius behind Apple.
